In the war for your mind, will you be persuaded that evil is good and good is evil?

The Bible discloses a coming evil ruler and false religious leader who, under Satan's sway, will deceive almost everyone in the world (Revelation chapters 12 and 13). We read of a final superpower emerging which has been given power and authority by Satan. The world will bow down to this empire's dominion:"All the world marveled and flollowed the beast...saying, 'Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?...And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation" (13:3-4, 7). The world will be seduced into worshiping this 'Beast' as well as the devil, who ultimately empowers it due to his motivation of redirecting people's worship to himself. He will give power to this coming dictator to transform things to look like they're good and wonderful in order to gain trust and devotion to this false ideology. This will be a military dictatorship.

There will be a religious crusade aligning together with this political and military power to bring the world under united worship...a one-world religion! (Could this be already in place with the ecumenical COP 27?) This evil religious leader will appear outwardly Christian and will have the position and authority to influence the world to worship the political ruler and his government. He will be given the power of Satan to, through supernatural displays, '"...perform great signs, so that he even makes fire to come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceived those who dwell on the earth... and causes as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed" (Revelation 13:13-15). Could part of that trickery be through the use of computer advances such as artificial intelligence, (AI). along with other technologies? Perhaps, but what we do know is that supernatural forces will be involved as the apostle Paul tells us this evil religious leader's arrival is "according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders" (2 Thessalonians 2:9), describing him as 'the lawless one" (verse 8), and later the apostle John describes him as the False Prophet (Revelation 16:13; 19:20; 20:10) who heads up a great false religious system (see Revelation 17).

The question remains, 'Why would people allow themselves to be beguiled, believing a lie?" Paul gives us the answer: "Because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved" (Thessalonians 2:10).

How about you? Do you actually love the truth? Do you really know the truth? Ask yourself, Do I really follow the truth Jesus Christ Himself taught? When the war on your mind, your thinking, and on your loyalties begins, will you give in, or will you believe the truth in God's Word and follow Christ? It won't be the popular thing to do, but it will be the right thing to do.

Take heed, the events foretold in Revelation are in the works right now, and will affect you and your loved ones. Decide now what you will do, not underestimating Satan's ability to deceive and corrupt. Search out the truth in God's Word and know it, live it so you are not now and will not in the future fall for his delusions. Get rid of unbiblical practices as you find them in your life. Our hope rests in God, as in James 4:7-8: "Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." I pray we will all completely dedicate ourselves to discovering the true worship of the one true God!
