Some people think they have to read the Bible from a purely Jewish perspective. Others think that the whole Bible does not pertain to them as they do not practice Judaism. I venture to say that both mindsets are against what God has recorded for us in His Word. The Bible is the written Word of God for all people. Cover to cover. It is His Word, not any man's words. If you are a born again Christian, the whole Bible pertains to you. Cover to cover. The Lord tells us that He has grafted us into the vine, our hearts are circumcised, and we belong to Him when we have His Spirit within us. Therefore, we are to keep His commandments, His Sabbaths, and His Feasts. That is His way. If you read the Bible, you will find it. God has made sure that His Truth is recorded for us.
In Daniel 12:4, God tells Daniel to keep secret and seal up the book (of prophecy) till the time of the end when many will endeavor to search out the meaning; and knowledge will be increased by their efforts. But, the meaning shall not be fully known until the events take place. Then the seal shall be broken and everything made clear. There is one irrefutable fact about God's truths; they are always the truth. Truth never changes. In fact, God tells us in Malachi 3:6, “For I am the LORD, I change not...” Therefore, when God decides to grant us the knowledge he gave to Daniel, it must maintain the truths down through time. Ephesians 1:19-22 tells us that God builds upon what has gone before, what has happened in the past.
The Shemitah cycles, and the understanding the diminishing law of sevens is part of that knowledge.

7,000 Years Appointed to Mankind, 6,000 and then the Millennium
There is end-time knowledge being revealed today that is built upon previous truth, lining up with what has been recorded for us. ONE of the most powerful insights revealing to us that we are at the end time is found in Daniel 12:7. Earlier in this century the scattering of the power of the holy people, those with the Holy Spirit of God living in them, was completed through much persecution and fear of their lives.
